Gear Now Available, ROBLOXia in Awe

Wow! A new update has been released, and as all of our staff members agree, it’s well, epic! I had my staff member AgentCG do some research on the new gear, as well as share his opinions on this new release. Read-on and see what all the talk is about!

So what exactly is Gear?

Gear in my opinion is exactly like tools you get in games except that YOU KEEP GEAR WITH YOU EVERYWHERE!  That’s right, you buy it on the catalog, and that’s it. At all times you can use it in any game, just long as the game is gear friendly (meaning the game allows gear). So I could go and play “Bobba’s ultimate build” with the brigand sword, or maybe go to “Sword Fights on the Heights” with the Ork Blade. How awesome is that?

Currently you can only buy 3 pieces of gear; the Brigand sword, the Orc Blade, and Bloxy Cola. The Brigand sword is a hefty 100 bux, the Orc blade an even more expensive 150 bux, and Bloxy Cola, the cheapest, is priced at 50 bux. Too expensive you might think? But I say it’s worth it. After all,now you can pwn noobs in games more often, with the flick of a blade!

Gear can be used in all games that allow it.

Who knows what will come next in some weeks time? We may be able to buy Shotguns, guitars and loads more to keep with us Permanently. Just when reading this I think we should all say a quick thank you.

Video Game Obby Course™ Review

Before the review, I would like to give a big applaude to our new writer, AgentCG! He wrote this review and got the facts. Anything’s possible with my staff of writers!

“The Video Game obby Course” has been seen on the front page of the game page for a while now, and has been visited quite a lot for an obsticle course. As we all know, most games on the front page are good, and your first thought is that this will be the same. But that may change…

The Overview 

Problems

     1.Personally I can see no problems myself except for the most obvious one, Mjolner the hammer. When I played there were three people at vip that seemed kind of new to ROBLOX. At the end of my testing, I was on the last obstacle trying to get to the end. I couldn’t get to vip/winners because they kept using the hammer. For all of you who don’t know what the hammer does, it makes a shockwave and kills all within about fifty studs. Not too easy to get past, eh?

     2. Another slight deterrent is that it has nothing to do with video games. It is just some video game characters at a normal obstacle you would find in any obsticle course.

Advantages

1. One advantage of the game here is that IT’S EASY! In fact, this is so surprisingly easy even a a newbie to ROBLOX could do it.

It is really very easy. There is nothing to it, and as I said, a newbie could do it.

I’d like to give more, but I can’t because there is no real creativity except for some character designs. Each obstacle is only one colour.

Nothing much to it. I could build this.

Not bad room for improvement. Tip to creator: maybe actually associate it with video game characters.

Anyone. Anyone can play this; its that easy.

Worlds of Wood (62 Colors too!)

Have you been following the news recently? Well then you had to have noticed the new contest out: Worlds of Wood! Following the new update, the administrators have decided to put the newly discovered wood to good work. In this new contest, the goal is to build a place that contains wood and get visits to it. Just have worldsofwood in your place title and a block of wood, and you’ve entered! Sinple huh? Well just wait until you check out the prizes…

One can’t help but marvel at another scientific discovery: new colors! Instead of the previous 3o colors, we have a new, mighty, 62! This is a defiant help, especially if you have been having trouble finding colors for your new places.

Review: The Ultimate Doomspire War!

     Well, it’s time for another review. Enjoy!

 Okay. First of all, I want to tell you that I wasn’t expecting much from this place. “Just another attempt at fame” I thought. Well, I was wrong. When I first entered the game, I realised the genius of this place. I mean, who doesn’t like to destroy things? I walked of to the yellow teams tower, and started off by surveying my tools. There is a wide variety, which makes the game much more exiting. I next started to bomb the yellow teams base. Amazingly, there was minimal lag!! Even with millions of pieces flying around, It was pretty much lag free. I tried gravity hammer next. It was even better at destroying the yellow team base than the bomb! When I studied closer, I found that there is a down side. Many of the tools are useless compared to the more destructive ones. Jodding that down on my notepad, I kept on swinging the gravity hammer. I marveled as I sent the yelllow base toppling to the ground.  But my rally was brought to an end when a yellow team member fired a rocket at me to sent almost instant death to my user. Re-spawning, I decided to see what was happening on the paths below. What I saw there was disappointing. All it was was a few paths surrounded by lava. After exploring a few other parts of the map. I logged off the game. Below are my ratings:

Gameplay: 9/10

Fun: 10/10

Creativity: 10/10

Lag control: 7/10
